Last updated: March 21, 2026

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of East Agile Tracker (eastagiletracker.com), operated by East Agile. This policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. We may update this policy at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party.
  • Transmit any material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Distribute malware, viruses, worms, or any other malicious code or software.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or any related systems or networks.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Engage in any form of automated data collection (scraping, crawling, harvesting) without our prior written consent.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications, spam, or bulk messages.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Use the Service for cryptocurrency mining, running proxy services, or any resource-intensive activity unrelated to project tracking.

3. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. This includes:

  • Using a strong, unique password for your account and changing it periodically.
  • Not sharing your account credentials with any other person.
  • Notifying us immediately at security@eastagile.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
  • Logging out of your account when using shared or public devices.
  • Keeping your registered email address current so you can receive security notifications.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you authorized them. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account.

4. Content Guidelines

Content you create, upload, or share through the Service (including project names, story descriptions, comments, and attachments) must comply with the following guidelines:

  • You must have the right to use and share any content you submit to the Service.
  • Content must not contain personal data of others without their consent.
  • Content must not include sensitive financial information such as credit card numbers, bank account details, or Social Security numbers.
  • Content must not contain material that promotes discrimination, hatred, or violence against any individual or group.
  • Content must not include illegal material or material that encourages illegal activity.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates this policy, without prior notice.

5. API and Integration Usage

If you access the Service through our API, the following additional rules apply:

  • You must authenticate all API requests with valid credentials.
  • You must respect rate limits. Excessive API calls that degrade the Service for other users may result in throttling or suspension.
  • API access tokens must be stored securely and never exposed in client-side code or public repositories.
  • Automated integrations must include appropriate error handling and must not retry failed requests excessively.

6. Resource Usage

The Service is designed for project tracking and team collaboration. You must use the Service in a manner consistent with its intended purpose. We reserve the right to limit or restrict usage that places an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure, including but not limited to excessive storage consumption, abnormally high API request volumes, or any usage pattern that negatively impacts other users.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us at abuse@eastagile.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. You may report violations anonymously, though providing contact information may help us follow up if additional details are needed.

8. Enforcement and Termination

Violations of this AUP may result in any or all of the following actions, at our sole discretion:

  • A warning notice sent to the account holder.
  • Temporary suspension of your account or specific features.
  • Removal of content that violates this policy.
  • Permanent termination of your account without refund.
  • Reporting to law enforcement if the violation involves illegal activity.

We will generally attempt to notify you before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the Service, its users, or third parties. Our decision to take or not take enforcement action in one instance does not waive our right to take action in future instances.
