Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide a better user experience, and give site owners useful information. This Cookie Policy explains how East Agile Tracker (eastagiletracker.com), operated by East Agile, uses cookies and similar technologies.
2. Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled. Without these cookies, core features of the Service would not work.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| session_id | Maintains your authenticated session | Browser session |
| auth_token | Authenticates API requests on your behalf | 7 days |
| cookie_consent | Stores your cookie consent preference | 12 months |
3. Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Service. They collect information in an anonymized form. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them through the cookie consent banner.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ph_* | Tracks anonymized usage patterns and feature adoption | PostHog | 12 months |
4. Advertising Cookies
We use the Google Ads conversion tag to measure whether an advertisement led to a sign-up. The tag loads on every page, but Consent Mode keeps advertising storage denied until you accept non-essential cookies in the banner. Until then it stores no cookies at all and redacts ad-click identifiers from what it sends. We do not display advertisements on the Service. If you accept, Google sets _gcl_au for up to 90 days, and _gcl_aw for up to 90 days when you arrive from an advertisement, to attribute a conversion. The same tag also loads Google Analytics, which sets _ga and _ga_0S3DSJDG4H for up to 400 days to recognise a returning visitor.
5. How to Manage Cookies
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Cookie consent banner: When you first visit the Service, a banner allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change this preference at any time from your account settings.
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning properly.
- Do Not Track signal: We respect the Do Not Track (DNT) browser signal. When DNT is enabled, we will not load analytics cookies.
Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
